Shahid Khandker

President

One of the Founding members and running President of the Board of Directors of Vision Infinite Foundation. In his professional life, he runs an immigrant friendly high-end medical device distribution business in Canada with an office in Bangladesh.

He has an academic background in Pharmacy from Bangladesh and Business from Thames Valley University UK and before immigrating to Canada, he lived in the UK and Singapore for several years and has a global first hand experience of the many challenges Immigrants face when they immigrate to a new country.

Shahid is also the President of the Canadian Chapter of Distressed Children and Infants International that works to support distressed children in Asia and Africa with key focus in Bangladesh. He is also associated with numerous other socio-cultural Organizations.

Bhuiyan Mahbub Latif

Bhuiyan M. G. Mahbub is one of the founding members and the current General Secretary of the Board of Directors in VIF. He completed his undergraduate degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from University of Rajshahi in Engineering Technology (RUET) in Bangladesh in 1991.

He started his career in the Telecommunication Field at Communication Technology Limited (CTL), Bangladesh. Before migrating to Canada, he lived in Dubai, UAE and worked in Emirates Telecommunications Corporation for 9 years. He has been working in Bell Technical Solutions (Bell Canada) since 2008.

He is also involved in many social and humanitarian works in Canada and Bangladesh; he is one of the founders of Alokito Madhupur, an organization with thousands of youths and young adults working to provide Humanitarian supports to underprivileged disadvantaged people in Bangladesh. Bhuiyan continues to give back to the community in Canada and Bangladesh. He also strives to stay engaged in charity works as it is a core part of his belief.


Dr. Ainun Afroza

Prof. Dr. Ainun Afroza is Retired Founder Chair of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition Department of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. She is a Co-Founder and Director of the Green Life Medical College & Hospital in Dhaka.

Prof. Ainun is a Pediatrician and Medical Educator, having Teaching, Clinical Care and Research experience for more than three decades. She also served the Regional Office of World Health Organization as an International Professional. She made significant contribution for Child health, Medical Education and Nutrition of Women and Children in Bangladesh and other regional countries.

Prof. Ainun is member of renowned professional bodies and an adviser of South East Asia Regional Association of Medical Education. She is serving on boards of several academic, socio-cultural and not for profit organizations in Canada.

Dr.Mohammad Toufique Ehsan

Board of Directors

Mohammad Toufique Ehsan received his bachelor’s degree in Medicine from University of Rajshahi as well as Masters in Pediatric Surgery from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He practiced surgery in Bangladesh and various other countries including at University Hospital in Oman. He also published articles at various reputed journals.

He also received his bachelor’s degree in Public Health and Safety from Ryerson University. He is actively involved in the scientific and health promotion program components of Vision Infinite Foundation.


Kazi Toriqul Islam

Md. Toriqul Islam is one of the founding directors of Vison Infinite Foundation. He graduated from Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) and is now the Vice President of the BAU Alumni Inc in Canada. He is also the advisor to Dhaka Club Inc in Canada.

Dr. Shahida Sultana FRCPC

Adviser

After Graduating from Sylhet Osmani Medical College, Bangladesh, Dr. Sultana moved to USA. She completed a four year residency training in Combined Medicine-Pediatrics program from New Jersey. Subsequently she moved to Toronto with her family and completed her FRCPC in General Internal Medicine. She is also a diplomat of American Board of Internal Medicine.

She has been working as a Hospitalist-Internist at Markham Stouffville Hospital for more than eleven years. She loves working with sick patients in hospital and training the resident doctors. She holds a clinical adjunct position in Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto.

In personal life, she is married and has two sons, loves spending as much time as possible with her family. She wants to spare some time for community work whenever possible.
